The Simpsons S5 ★★★★★

Watching back over this show it is striking the sheer amount of jokes about Bart, Homer and Abe crossdressing and how into it they are presented as being every time. This is, of course, of its time, and obviously meant purely as humour, but like with 2010s bromance jokes if one simply does not view crossdressing or transness as inherently ridiculous, then at some point it just starts to feel like every man in the Simpson family really isn’t getting enough œstrogen.
